Should I Make My First Character Leave PreSearing?
I've had her for 5 years and she has 5 birthday presents. :P But she's still in presearing. Should I get her out to get her minis in my HoM or should I leave her there forever?

i'd leaver her there. as a rule of thumb pre-searing minis are worth more then post searing minis by quite a preety penny. so if your interested in getting money i'd leave it there and just work on other characters( and if you want to carry the minis over to psot searing jsut use a trusted friend/al account to move the minis to post)

Also, if you have an extra char slot or something you can reroll, make another pre-searing character, transfer your items from your permapre to the new character (via a guildie/friend holding the items for a min while you swap chars, due to their being no pre-only xunlai...), then take the first few quests, make it a mesmer secondary (because it's the fastest), and ferry the stuff to post on that disposable char.
You can do the same if you want to get consumables or festival drops or whatever to post. Also, yeah, you'd probably want to keep those minis in pre. I'm pretty certain you'd actually make a profit via selling them in pre then rebuying them in post. But yeah, check that out. Good luck. |

Yes, better sell your minis (black dyes) while in pre before you would leave and use that money you made to buy a whole lot of nicer minis for your HoM. To transfer by a different account was also a good idea so your pre character can stay. Eventuelly you'll be 6 years in pre and get even more valuable minis

I recommend leaving it. If you really want to get the minis out, ask a friend or guilty to transport them out for you. It's not so easy to get another character in pre-Searing that has been there for five years.

Leave it there. I personally love pre and the scenery and you would probally miss it after having it there for 5 years.

Although I agree that pre minis are worth a hell of a lot more, nobody really buys them... I really suggest staying in pre just to get gifts of the huntsman then getting a friend to help transfer to your post toons. Doing this will get you new minis in your HoM and party/sweet/alcahol points for your title

And if you want to get your sweet and party titles done, your pre character can farm for Nicholas Sandford in pre and save up the gifts. The pre Nick only gives fireworks, jars of honey, honeycombs and alcohol, so your title points add up very quickly.
